I like cricket best. It is an open-air game. It
gives healthy exercise. It makes us strong. It
makes us keen-eyed, watchful and quick-footed.
It gives us stamina.
All are equal in cricket. It
brings together the rich and the poor, the high
and the low. It creates the spirit of brotherhood.
It develops good sportsmanship. Everyone likes
it. It is very exciting. A good catch makes thousands
shout and clap.
I am always present at a first-class
Test Match. My cricket hero is Sir Garfield Sobers.
Cricket gives me everything I want. It gives me
fresh air and brisk exercise. It gives me mental
and physical quickness and skill. I get real pleasure
and thrill from it. Cricket stands for honesty,
frankness and fair-play.
